SUNSHINE GOAL

Timbers tonight defeated the Islanders in a close 1-0 game! It was amazing and I was so happy to be there for the historical match. This was the last game before the team is adopted into the Major League Soccer! The timbers army was in full gear and the stadium was packed with green and white! As you very well may know, at the strike of the 80th minute, the entire crowd breaks out into singing "You are my sunshine" A very symbolic song to Timber Jim's daughter I believe? The Sunflowers were passed out to everyone in the crowd and during the 80'th minute the sunflowers were raised high as everyone sang. I've never seen so many sunflowers in my life. A couple minutes after the song was sung the timbers scored, what my uncle called, the SUNSHINE GOAL. A prodigious night for the team and spectators!

Eastern Oregon

Its very plain here when you first glance at the landscape, but oh my gosh, today I found so many cool sights. On the crooked river I found many cool organisms. I witnessed a reptile consume a grasshopper thee size of my finger! I caught a rainbow trout. And after all that we came back to the house to look at nebulas in a really high powered telescope. We then came inside from the frigid summer night and played pool and joked around.  I'm feeling some kayaking tomorrow.

Helmet cam project

I'm going on a the or for day trip up on mt.hood. Looking forward to the photographic opportunities. We are going kayaking, hiking, and biking. Starting this thursday with hiking. I created a helmet camera to fit my cell phone which will capture HD Video! This is for the mountain biking on ski bowl; a ski resort that converts the chair lifts for bikes in the summer time.
